DEVLIN'S DINER by
Shawn Weaver follows the near-death experience of a man who has just been in a serious car accident. Kyle has a difficult time accepting what has happened, even when someone at the diner tries to help him. As he struggles to accept the information given to him, Kyle is running out of time to decide where he wants to go.
There's not a lot of details to the story, but I did enjoy the lawyer joke. I also found the afterlife description about 9/11 rather fascinating. Some moments are sad, others are amusing, but the ending is a nail-biter. Will Kyle decide for himself or will someone else decide his fate?
